Feliz Cumpleaños, Pedro!!!

Bitter, Bitter Balcony, Movie Review, Spain's saucy director turns 61  Spain's saucy director turns 61

Bitter Balcony salutes Spain's great filmmaker, the naughty (and sometimes nice) Pedro Almodovar. The daring director, who started his great career during the tailend of Franco's evil regime, has pushed the envelope of social liberation with his own fresh and comical signature. While he has a fair share of stinkers ("Kika," "The Bad Education"), his resume is full of international classics like "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown," "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down," and newer works like "Volver" and "Talk to Her". He also helped start the career of Puss N' Boots, also known as El Mariachi. El Balcon Amargo le desea felicidades, Don Pedro!
