Pop Tarantino: Check Out These Cool posters!

Bitter Balcony checked out this web-site via imdb (we milked them pretty hard) and we were impressed by these pop art inspired posters created by Ibraheem Youssef based on Quentin Tarantino’s movies. Youssef is a Toronto based artist, whose works range from illustration to art design and almost everything in between. All of Quentin’s film posters get the abstract treatment, a special treat for any Tarantino nut.

My personal favorite is the “Pulp Fiction” with the weapons Butch ponders to take down from the shelves of Zed’s Pawn shop. They are all pretty wonderful, like the cover of a 50 cent pulp novel from the pharmacy rack. Anyways, these posters are available for sale, along with the print versions, in Youssef’s website http://ibraheemyoussef.com/. Enjoy these fine pieces of art, and can someone please explain to me what the hands in the “Inglorious Basterds” poster means?
