Triangle - Spicy, Yummmm... [USER REVIEW] [User Review]

Triangle (2009),Bitter Balcony, review, movie revieww, movie, bitter
Triangle

Triangle is spicy nice little film. Among all the plasticy and plain taste commercial options, it will certainly make you remember, intrigue you and get you to talk about it for a while.

Our single mum girl left home for a sailing day getaway. A sudden storm over-turned the boat and the survivors had to board a cruise ship knowing little about whats awaiting. And obviously, it wouldn’t be comedy, as our JAS here in BB avoided linking a trailer to reserve the surprise for the upcoming viewers.

Without ruining JAS's effort I certainly can't/shouldn't spoil the plot any further, if your mum's bedside drawer you will be seriously worded by mum, monthly allowance canned by dad, and you might suffer post trauma just by what you witnessed unauthorised. And as all food lover know, if you know everything about how a food is made it might really start to taste less interesting. There you go JAS.

Valhalla Rising the level of bitterness we have

Valhalla Rising (2010)

"Valhalla Rising" does not rise Valhalla, but it might rise the hoards of dead Vikings waiting for Ragnarok because they want to hand the writer and director's asses to them due to this overwhelmingly boring film. Mads Mikkelsen has managed to bring a certain charm to the characters he's played in the past, yes even in the lame duck that was "Clash of the Titans". However, in this film he gets the shaft in the way of a character that has every opportunity to be cool and never is.

Lookout films presents I Knew It Was You: Rediscovering John Cazale

John Cazale is one of the most overlooked actors in film history. Cazale, who played rhythm to co-stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino groundbreaking lead acting riffs not only held his own, but was able to do what few supporting actors can, be dynamic without being overpowering. He was only in five films before his life ended prematurely at 42 due to bone cancer, but what films: “The Godfather”, “The Godfather II”, “Dog Day Afternoon”, “The Conversation” and “The Deer Hunter.”

Underrated Films Presents: Triangle (2009)

Triangle (2009),Bitter Balcony, review, movie revieww, movie, bitterTriangle (2009)

It’s hard to write about "The Triangle" without ruining it – so this will be vague and short.

The premise: Jess (Melissa George), Tommy and friends get together on a small yacht for a day at sea. Jess arrives on the dock with something, possibly serious, going on in her world, but chooses to go on the trip anyway. After a nap, she wakes to try to enjoy the day with Tommy and his friends, but a freak storm overturns their yacht. While adrift they are crossed by a ship that appears to be deserted. With little choice, they board and find that there's someone aboard ship and this someone begins to dispatch them one by one. Jess must do what she can to survive and help her friends the best she can. But there is something more she must find: a secret terror lying in the shadows.

Guillermo Del Toro leaves director's chair for The Hobbit but will stay as writer

A blow has hit the frequently delayed prequel to "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "The Hobbit", with the talented Guillermo Del Toro abandoning his directing duties. Del Toro appears to have left the project, scheduled as a two part film, because of time and legal constraints due to studio rights. The good news, however, is that Del Toro and Jackson are in good terms and will work together with co-screenwriters Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh to have a final draft of J.R Tolken's adventure before shooting. Still, how great could this movie have been with Del Toro's imagination and heart. Well, we hope Jackson and Co. can find the right guy to bear the ring...again.
