DOA: Dead or Alive (because the abbreviation is just not enough) *PBB

Note: Some reviews were written before we just about gave up on Hollywood--just like one of those couples that think, "This time it'll work out." These reviews may not be as bitter as the Bitter Balcony norm, and are noted by: *PBB (Pre-Bitter Balcony).

DOA: Dead or Alive (because the abbreviation is just not enough)
Directed by: Corey Yuen
Produced by: Paul W.S. Anderson and
Laughably written by: J.F. Lawton, Adam Gross, and Seth Gross (Yes, three people!)
Released: June 15, 2007

Wow... just, wow.

If enter the dragon had no substance, a supped up labito and high gloss fake bullshit hollywood direction style it would be DOA.

I can't pretend that I expected anything out of this except jiggling kung-fu T&A, but to get exactly what I expected isn't always such a good thing.

This movie is pretty damn bad, but I knew that going in. When I noticed Paul W.S. Anderson as the one of the producers I had an, "Aaaaahhhh, that makes sense" moment. He is really paving the way for bad film making. Good job on yet another triumph of visual and literal mastery. Can't wait to laugh at your next movie!

One thing to point out is that this movie flopped like a dead fish hitting the deck in it's theatrical run in the US giving this reviewer hope that all peoples taste in movies isn't in their ass and that T&A alone won't sell a movie.

I know this one is short, but if you've seen the trailer you already knew what this review would contain, so :P
