Keep your cape and mask in your closets, Bat-fans! Inception is here!

The most interesting trailer in the Inglorious Basterds showing was the shortest, a quick tease of Christopher Nolan's Inception. Set for next Summer, Nolan will try to hold our interest until he rounds up the gang for the inevitable third Batman film with this sci-fi mystery.

Leonardo DiCaprio is the lead(which got some chuckles from the audience since this tease was shown right after Scorsese's Shutter Island trailer. Hollywood has a fever, and the only prescription, is more DiCaprio, baby!) as he appears to be involved in another web of intrigue. The tease has a Matrix feel to it, not only by an overview shot of the city as a map, but with a fight breaking out inside a hotel corridor with both men flying halfway through the air(no sighting of The Architect, I'm Afraid).

Nolan got this story he penned green lit as a reward from Warner Bros. for vitalizing their prized franchise. He got a smaller token of appreciation for reviving Batman in 2005's Batman Begins with The Prestige, and that was a slick rabbit out of the hat trick Nolan pulled off right under us.

For Inception, Warner Bros. now banks on the director's reputation to get our bat-sides in seats. Nolan also adds Cobra Commander himself, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as well as sirens Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page to a cast that features Nolan's favorites Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy. The movie looks good, and why should we doubt the man who against popular demand tore the nipples out of our beloved Dark Knight? -JR

Damn him for tearing off the single greatest contribution to film that Joel Schumacher has ever graced us with. Who does Christopher Nolan think he is? A good director? What a fool!

On the other hand, it would be interesting to see him tear off DiCaprio's nipples.
