MIFFF is back September 16th-18th!

MIFFF retuns for its third year to delight our eyes and minds with a myriad of independent films and four confirmed feature films - a fifth is in negotiation. I attended MIFFF last year and was pleased to find "The Presence" and "Srpski Film". Both of those feature films were great surprises and the short films were also pretty great. I also interviewed one of MIFFF's organizers, Eric Morgret. Needless to say this year looks to be pretty great with, what looks like, some really great films with quite high production values.

Seattle, WA - The Maelstrom International Fantastic Film Festival (MIFFF), a three day international showcase of genre films, is thrilled to announce the lineup for the third year MIFFF. 



The festival is taking place September 16th-18th, 2011 in Seattle, WA. SIFF Cinema at McCaw Hall will once again be the center of genre film mania for filmmakers and fans alike.



MIFFF's third year will debut 5 feature films and over 40 short films to cinema fans across the Pacific Northwest. Information about the films can be accessed at the MIFFF website.



Tickets are available in advance online. An entire festival pass can be purchased for $40. Individual screenings will cost $10. Tickets and passes will be available at the cinema each day of the festival. The venue is the SIFF Cinema, 321 Mercer St., at McCaw Hall on the campus of Seattle Center in Seattle.
