I couldn't stand her shouting "Sharon" every minute.

Silent HIll 2 was a great game! I remember I would have to record it for my ex to watch what I played while she slept. It had the right balance of ambiance and design along with great graphics and a touch of Jacob's Ladder (which is a fav of mine. Most of the score for the movie was taken directly from the game - which is fantastic.

The movie was merely OK. It was entertaining, but failed to capture the freakiness of the game which was a major bummer.

I'll have to give Silent Hill 3 a shot again. For some reason it didn't draw me in like 2 did.

Believe or not, I actually liked the (not so)Silent Hill. I normally hold negative attitude toward horror genre and generally expect very little from VG-turned movies. Somehow the SH was engaging enough for me to sit through and after, thought it wasn't too bad at all.

giving that, I didn't play the game and won't be able to tell how integrate the movie is to the game. Just by looking at the movie I imagine it is doing heaps better job than Max Payne or Tomb Raider, but I know some of the game fans beg to differ. I have however, played 'resident evil' and watched the movie (oh all 3 of them) and am sure Silent Hill the movie has more to the game than RE movies.

Milla is hot but the movie was totally lost it by the second half of the 'Extinction' when Mila turned X-Man..

anyway, kindda look forward to the sequal and maybe I won't see it.
