The 10 Worst Films of '09 (Jas)
1. "G.I. Joe" - A movie so bad that it can make ice sink (and no, there wasn't that much metal in it). Also, Gaelic voice activation for a plane... really?
2. "The Box" - Stuff us in one because this movie is Snore-fest '09
3. "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen" - Want to know how to not say anything for 2 1/2 hours and still make a killing? Look no further.
4. "Old Dogs" - A fitting title. This one should be put down.
5. "Year One" - We're not even justifying this one. No need to.
6. "Whiteout" - An utterly pointless movie.
7. "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" - Um, "legend" is used loosely. They should have replaced "legend" with "lame."
8. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" - What a way to screw up a story that should have been hard to screw up. Hey, its a Wolverine movie, so tell the X-Men to piss off!
9. "2012" - The world will end thanks to movies this bad.
10. "Halloween II" - A movie that can even make a goth kid hate Halloween.
Also, let us not forget that Jennifer Aniston and Hugh Grant had movies released this year, but those are beyond bad, so why bother. Sarah Jessica Parker's "Did you hear about the Morgans?" also gets a kudos for crap. Congrats kids! We'll be seeing you in the same lame-ass romantic comedies again next year!
No way does that belong on this this. It is crazy but entertaining.
I'm thinking of replacing it with "Deadline" which was absolutely horrible. There will be a "fun" review of it up by Wed.
I'll have to let John elaborate on this one as he was the victim, er, person who watched it for the site. :)
If it was actually watched by anyone I would have added "Deadline" (2009) in competition for the top slot.
